Most people that have the bars have B motors where that is not an issue. I also noticed when I removed my front mount when I had an A6 that it did the same thing and I had to put the mount back in.

I installed my the other day a couple problems getting the bolts started but other than that pretty easy...did you realign the radius rods after you installed? I measured before and after and made them pretty much the same...oh and people seem to have a problem with this mount being so close to the axle but as JK has said before it will never contact it

I also installed mine last week for the most part everything went good. I hacked the radiator mounts off and welded them on the other side made for some more DP room :y

B-series aftermarket mounts usually eleminate the front mount.

They're also made of polyurathane.

Do you have poly mounts?

Stiffening the mounts will help with eliminating motor movement and harsh movements of the chassy. However, the ride will become rougher in a different way and more vibrations will be heard inside the cabin. Being that ef's are older cars and the bars are made to be supertight (i.e have to be hit a few times to get into place) everyone will experience a little "issue" with installing them. I personally have installed four sets now, they all had to be hit into place and in one case because the cars frame was a little off the tow hook holes had to be drilled larger. Simple 10 minute fix and definately worth it.

yea i also had to drill the holes a lil bit bigger but not much... alright well i try some motor mounts and see how that works... you guys should experiment with a front motor mount to add on...i belive the Innovative did this. if you made one i would deffinatly buy one!!!
