No, it doesn't sound good on paper. It was a smartass remark and isn't how a compressor map is laid out. :-*

Hey, instead of that guy buying 3 ---- turbos (and hopefully not a 4th) why didn't he just buy one decent one? Can you just weld the bolts on before using? Ghetto as ---- but so are the turbos.

First was cheap, second was warrantied, third (when SSAC would not reply) was supposedly (I'm third party to this, dunno the details) a reman with good stuff inside of it but turns out it was a replacement CHRA.

The guy who owns the car works at Borg Warner, I have no clue why there isn't an S200 on the car.

Glad Steve's car is finally running (or not now i guess). Damn good numbers for the stock pump.

You guys dyno at WNC? "Three guys and a drum" LOL! ::)

Yeah I think I need to ride in that EG, kinda scared of steve's drivin though, after watchin that 0-to-PegDaSpeedo run on jasons dvd... :S

Harry's Microtech cable and software was tracked @ LAX yesterday, so hopefully we can slap it on this weekend and at least get a base tune on it.

LOL, no, the comp wheel is trashed and his car got my AAA home - "tune with me and tow for free" is my advertising slogan, you know. Car is as skittish under power as a 14 year old schoolgirl on PCP, at 130 you'd be scared on a vacant stretch of interstate.

Doesnt Wes have one of those super t70's laying around?
Slap that sum bitch on steve's car and go hunting this weekend, the ECX boys are planning a cruize sat night at sonic's, go show em what a fast car is. Zeky boi is probably gonna be their too, HINT HINT!!!

I think they plan on just that, it'd be funny because the car is alright at sub-70 mph speeds and Goforth can outdrive Zeke in it. ----, my daughter could outdrive Zeke in my beater.

Hell instead of threadlocker. Rub some JB on the threads and just wipe off any leftover so it wouldn't toss of the balance. Ehh?

Re: I've seen it all now.

I'm betting 15 in/lbs with a torque wrench fixes the problem. Turbo will trash itself in 5-10K due to balance issues... Wes' is supposedly balanced, but the shaft was warped and had to be fiddled until it was true so who knows how well it will hold up.

I don't recommend anybody gets a T70, ever. Wes' and Johnny's are the only two success stories out of seven T70's I've personally touched, and I know of another 5-7 from other people I know and trust not to exaggerate/lie/make noise, like Hitchhikkr's roomate & co.
