Flat-tops? If so what kind of piston-to-quench distance?

Just a word to the wise look out for those lil chevy vegas sporting sbc LOL
This is why I always have thoughts of getting the Caprice back someday, converting to fuel injection, and twin turbo.

Also any ref line needs to come from the top of the carb to get accurate boost reference.
Thanks for the advice.. the fuel pump was already boost referenced and we have a isolater w/ gauge so we can watch the fuel pressure inside the car when boosting, and we have had no problems.

Right now we are only boosting 5.5psi, we put the wideband on it and its running real good, we had to jet the rear's up like 9-10 sizes because the AFR's were off the chart at WOT. It's really hard to hear pinging on a v8 or any car for that matter when you have a external wastegate plumbed to vent atmosphere, so we are going to run a dumptube back into the exhaust, get a boost controller and crank it up! This thing is going to rip when everything is done.

i didn't mean that they would implode, it was just a figure of speech.

You know it's like that on whatever you do, beef this up so it can take this much, and that breaks and you have to start all over, you know it's true your only as good as the weakest link!!
