so last week i sent this dude 800 bucks for a Garrett t3/t04e turbo, Tail wastegate, and XS BOV. So today I got the package ive been waiting for and to my horror it said XS power all over the box. so i open it and of course its an xspower turbo and a BOV.... but wait wheres my wastegate..;.. certainly not in the box. This guy lives in minnesota... I'll have a link ot the post and pictures up soon... ---- IM PISSED

The parts list for sale, looks just like the parts lists from ssautoshit........Sorry for your loss, but ss sometimes advetises his ---- like garret turbos, hks manifolds and tial wastegate, the add an sty, which people don't know what it means. So you got a garret STYle turbo and will probably get aTial STYle wastegate also. Sucks hairy balls, but as soon as I saw the list I knew it was SS ----.


Post some pictures of the turbo, is it glued together?

Sometimes we can try to prevent things like this, but personal responsibility has more to do with it than anything any mod can do.

The guy registered on HMT the 22 of last month.

like he said. it sucks you got scammed but you should have learned from those of us (me) who have been ripped the ---- off in the past. I feel dumber for you being scammed because I tried to warn whoever looked in that thread to get more info and pix and you still got robbed. maybe we need some new rules in the classifieds, is there an explicit "no scamming" rule?

well i think the bashing of him buying it would be justifiable if dude never sent the items. He sent items and they were advertised falsely.

I wouldn't hold it all against silvia, i would hold most of it against the seller for false advertising. It might of been real ----. In this case it wasn't, so it's still the buyers fault. ???

Man, I registered just to reply on this thread because I know this kid, he used to be my friend. I haven't talked to him in three months ever since I left to go to a different school. All I can say is WTF!? Doesn't matter if you're friend or family, a scammer is a ------- scammer. Hopefully you get your money back.
