Because of stuff like this, HMT is my favorite forum.
Had I seen this earlier, I would have defintely called at least a dozen times.
So whats the next step?
Should we get JC's home phone?
Maybe swamp the police station with phone calls so they go check out his garage?

Damn, this is the first I've read this. As I'm reading, I'm getting idea's.
Jeff's not a thief, and he really has already written the wheels off as a loss, so going to jail, getting more retaliation drama isn't a good idea.
Here's some good idea's.
-If the police took reports when they were stolen, and when they went to JC's house, then take pictures of the wheels on JC's car, and then go to the courthouse and file a small claims lawsuit AGAINST THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. If they can't do thier job, then they can pay for a new set of wheels for you. (Plus this just causes a fucken scene and a half, so that's good) After the lawsuit is filed (probably cost like $30
) call all the local papers/TV news and tell them the story, and demand that they do an article about it.
-Stay on JC. Without getting in trouble
, keep HMT up to date on his address, phone numbers, work numbers, have the locals cruise by his house all the time. Have the locals confront him (without a fight) and just keep him on his toes. I would have thought he would have just given the wheels back by now, but then again, he doesn't know whats good for him. Make his life hell. Are the wheels worth hell for a life? Eventually he'll give them back.
-After all the harrassment, his life is bound to be downhill. After HMT gets a hold of him (with further information), he'll be willing to do whatever you want just to get all of us off his "case".
- Once you get him in this position, the HMT worldwide assault doesn't end until you get:
1) The wheels back
2) The actual name of who he got the wheels from (must be verifyed)
3) He registers here and makes 1 post. An apology (sp? (STFU) and an explanation.
AND NOT UNTIL ALL 3 ARE MET.
Total cost of the Stealthmode jack-back plan: Approx. $30 and time invested by HMT to get more info on him.
Get to work.

its great to see such comrodery here! Jeff I have to hand it to you, i never would have thought to get back at the little theiving punk in a legal way!!! Great job!!! I only wish i had gotten through one of the times I called! I hope things turn around for you. I mean jesus you offered him replacement wheels for christ's sake, i dont think i would have offered him his life, let alone some replacement wheels. Your restraint amazes me!!!

Jeff my car has a big history. Stolen 3 times broke into 4 times. I know your pain. I am happy to see at least you know who did it. We had video on the guys who took my car a few times but since the camera was not on my car the cops could never do anything. (they did tell me after i caught the guys and they got away that i could shoot them just don't kill em) You have a good thing going here with all this support, More then alot of us ever had. If there is anything i can do let me know. I just wish the cops would have tried harder to follow those guys i caught.
Only thing worth while was having me (big ------- scary white guy) with a huge butcher knife making 4 little asian guys cry in there 4 runner as i am yanking the driver out of his seat

Just a thought, everyone keep calling the auto shop until the owner gives up JC's phone number. The calling stops when JC's phone number is had.
Get your cell phones out, and program the number. When you're bored (like ****) call and get the digits.
