One guy was back behind the seats, we were going to find him a car and the only car we had at the moment was mine so we piled in there and he was actually the first person who never complained about riding back there.

Yeah it could be, or he could have had some things that you can't see. Just a complete exhaust, or even just an up-pipe, and downpipe, with the factory catback will give you a 30-40hp boost, because you are taking 3 restrictive cats, and you won't be able to see or hear this mods at all. Colder weather, better driver, or he does not know about the WRX transmissions breaking and drops the clutch in every launch, a big no no with the WRX's. I don't do that and it takes the car a little while to spool up. It doesn't matter anyways, that goes back to the topic, if the guy knows how to drive better than me, or if he races in colder weather, I'm in Florida, the car will respond different. No 2 cars are alike, even with the same mods.

it isnt all about the numbers but consider this... i have an N/A GP and i hand tons of civics there asses... its just got a much wider powerband and lower torque peak then most imports so on the street they're incredible and by the way the pontiac does not come with anyform of manual tranny even aftermarket<i checked> the only thing i can think of hi doing is dropping the auto gear lever down into 3rd from drive <which is usually a good trick>
yes its heavy yes i race it <unfortuanatly in winnipeg ive gotta drive like 2hrs to get to the nearest track at speed limit... > and yes it would've handed u ur *** if he wasnt playin with ya which reminds me is anybody selling a set of identical T3's? the GP is about to go TT

I saw the car myself. I went over it as well. This was before the ecutek was available and the car only had about 2500km on it. Stock everything. He just revved it up to about 6k and dropped the clutch. Every time I waited to see gears flying out but even to this day he's only gone through a clutch.

I did a 14.3 in his car without beating up on it. Proper launch etc. It drove like a stock car. I also did a 13.9 in one with an exhaust and MBC on a hotter day. My STi at the time was fairly consistant between 12.9 and 13.1. Maybe for the end of next year I'll have it back together and on the road again.

Cool, I hope to get there soon. I already have a Helix up-pipe that I need to install, and I'm looking for the best price on their downpipe. After that I want to get a good catback exhaust and I'm thinking on doing the COBB stage 2 ECU Reflash, that should put me at around 280hp.
