IQ tests are flawed in may ways. They should test a persons ability to learn but are inevitably inaccurate because the tests are based in large part on previous knowledge.

Anyways, MENSA has a decent practice test out there.

Your ability to learn is demonstrated by your amount of previous knowledge. There is an age factor, you know.

Incorrect. These tests are based on common areas on knowledge. Someone could have an amazing ability to learn but have applied it in an area that is untested. MENSA openly admits that the tests are flawed. What if you don't speak English as a first language? There are tons of ways in which the tests are inaccurate. They are great for people like you and me that do well in science and technology but not so great for people in other areas. I score very well on IQ tests but don't thing the tests are thorough enough. I don't think I'm a genus, im just interested in areas that happen to be on these tests.

What about a person's ability for social interaction? Doesn't that require intelligence? How is that accounted for? My social skills are like a negative 3.

IQ tests should be called knowledge tests.

my friend and i got in a fight about who had a higher IQ. so we took the test and i beat him by one point. neither of us remember the score. i know i have a high IQ, i don't need the number to brag to people.
BTW i think it was higher than 129
