Default Intake manifold

I have a question. this weekend I noticed I have sprung a leak and coolant is coming out somewhere. It seems like it is coming from the intake maifold but it looks to be coming out somewhere near the timing belt side. Is ther a watter passage in Z6 on that side? also is there a gasket for the IM or do you just use some liquid type?

timing belt side? ouch.. no coolant lines or any passages over there, my guess is a blown head gasket

what about that big metal coolant line that drops into the water pump, that o-ring could have failed?

Hmmm....sounds like it could be. Hopefully it's that and not the head gasket.

correct me if im wrong, I think that main coolant line is the only thing that could leak on that side, to get to that your better off pulling the motor

---- pulling the motor. If you pulled anything it would be the intake manifold.

Yes, the intake uses a gasket. :P

i would pull it, but thats just me. It take me less time to yank out the motor and fix it then it would for me to try and get my fluffy hands into tight spots

what about the water pump weep holes? if the water pump is going out coolant will leak out the weep holes and they are right there by the t-belt.
