In this picture you can see we tried a spot weld but it ended up breaking off, I usually build a little bracket off the fuel rail.

couldn't you like drill and tap some hole for it? like for the 10mm bolts that hold them on?

I second that, then maybe seal the threads when you insurt the bracket mount?

Man I wish I had a TIG.. my next major toy will either be a TIG or I'm going to buy another plasma cutter. Oh yeah, I'm getting a bigger MIG soon ;D

Yup, you could do that.. that was plan 2, but when the engine is already in the car and you have to mock the manifold up to see where the throttle cable is at so you can position the bracket you cant drill holes in the IM when its installed so you have to take it back off. Building a bracket off the fuel rail was the next best thing.
