Re: installing aftermarket bov in jetta
get a forge diverter valve, only things that vw's will like and maybe some other full recirculating valves, i hang out with way too many 1.8t ******* and they have gone through numerous cdm bovs, real type s and hks, turbosmarts half and half pieces of ----, etc, cars would run like complete ---- if not recirculated

1 - To keep the car silent
2 - To help spool the turbo just a lil bit. but hell, who am i talking. i have a haltech, i can just adjust timing soo far that the turbo spools by itself.

Most VW guys are tards. The stock diverter valve wont leak if you FLIP THE ------- THING AROUND!!! so that it effectively becomes a pull type bov. Thats the way it should have been from the factory and thats how Porsche does it on the 911. It works. Like just about everyone else said, its an MAF car and the computer wont compensate for the lack of diverted air when the throttle shuts.
