Innovative B/D/H/K Series Cable to Hydraulic Conversion

Re: Innovative B/D/H/K Series Cable to Hydraulic Conversion
For the price, I'd rather DIY hydro conversion. ----- parts off an EG/DC teg, run some brake line, make your brackets off the dash, done.

Well Im in the process of becoming a dealer with them so pricing will be fair. Im alot about ease if it works Id be happy. |
Re: Innovative B/D/H/K Series Cable to Hydraulic Conversion
---- thats the first time ive seen that, I bet it works 100x's better then the over priced hasport.

Re: Innovative B/D/H/K Series Cable to Hydraulic Conversion
I'd consider going that way on my car. 3000# clutch needs to go as it breaks pedal boxes and cables.
Problem is, hydro gearboxes have a different trans mount underhood than the cable units. How much is that mount? |

i know innovates stuff is really nice, but if you cant keep it as cheap or cheaper then hasport its not gonna sell. |

I've seen a couple of HASport hydro conversions that had the bearings in the lever arm die quick. |
Re: Innovative B/D/H/K Series Cable to Hydraulic Conversion
JD just bust out the welder for the tranny mount duh :-*

Re: Innovative B/D/H/K Series Cable to Hydraulic Conversion
google it you will find the hasport one has nothing but problems
the only reason you like it is becouse it hasnt took a dump on you yet |
Re: Innovative B/D/H/K Series Cable to Hydraulic Conversion
The hasport unit worked great on a couple friends simple road racing all motor cars and still work to this day but all have had excessive clutch pedal hardness for style of clutch running. 11 sec all motor h22 w/ b series trans had nothing but problems with the clutch with the hasport unit. I have a feeling Im going to be a one of the first people to be running this thing but it looks like a real solution for once.

Re: Innovative B/D/H/K Series Cable to Hydraulic Conversion
seen those when i was searching for something else. found some pics of one mounted, looked gay as ----... but would probably work ok...
but for the price....YS1 tranny FTW ;) im just gonna throw hydro internals in it and go with the proven OEM cable :y Chris, let me know when your setup...got some prices im gonna need beat ;) |
Re: Innovative B/D/H/K Series Cable to Hydraulic Conversion
That is sweet. I would rock it. In fact if I had known of its existence before I would have put a b-series into that del slo already. Now theres no money for that :-[

Re: Innovative B/D/H/K Series Cable to Hydraulic Conversion
I am going to put one of those in my project CRX along with there mounts so I can run my hydro GSR tranny i have and a twin disc clutch.Im just getting the motor together now so I wont be buying any till January so if you become a dealer i will buy mine from you.I did the cable tranny and a big ridiculous clutch and it sucked im not going that route again :3 I like the simplicity of it as you could do a hydro pedal swap etc but that is a pain in the ass i dont need and i think the mounts and hydro assembly is around 5-600 from Innovative.Innovative mounts are good ---- I think there just as good as Hasport and they have the bling bling billet if you have a need to be baller. Yours does have bearings you just haven't examined it closely enough. Take the allen head cap screw that retains the lever arm @ an angle out of the plate that bolts to the trans, and inspect the arm. Corey, you are forgetting I already have HASport mounts, so I do ONLY need the tranny mount and not a bunch of other stuff. FYI, my shift linkage is cut + weld because I couldn't see spending that sort of coin for something so simple and straightforward. |

Where do you bolt the assembly up to? I'm trying to visualize this bitch.

Re: Innovative B/D/H/K Series Cable to Hydraulic Conversion
I got that part, I was wondering where the master cyl. assembly mounts to, BUT
Actuator will mount directly on to lower front radiator support in front of the radiator. Unit will allow the use of the factory slave cylinder with proper geometry for a factory pedal feel. |
