it is true that the more retards that buy the same car, the worse it will look for that specific brand. thats why honda guys are looked at like they are. i havent personally witnessed crank walk, but to me its kinda like nogs with fried chicken and watermelon. if enough people say it happens, its probably quite a bit true. why do most people I see(not saying all, just the ones i see first hand) building a 2nd gen eclipse go for the 1st gen blocks? i would assume the crank walk issue. also, i think it would be tough for an automatic car to have a crankwalk issue. there really isnt much lateral force on the crank in those like an manual.

ive personally seen three different 96-99 gst's spin bearings. i have had three friends with 96-99 gst and all of them have had engine replcaments before 130k. thats sucks that those cars will not last 150k miles. my non turbo 3000gt spun a bearing before 120k
