im an impulse buyer just bought a t3/t4
 

yesterday i was browsing egay and for some fucked up reason i decided to buy this t3/t4 for $190 shipped, i already have a 14b good condition sitting in my garage but i just couldnt help it... ------- crazy ---- anyway here are the specs for it, and it comes with a boost controller... ive been looking at someting a little bigger for my d16 so i guess it will all work out.. would anybody not recomend this turbo for a d16 with hf + adapter plate with stock internals and around 6-8 psi? what will spoolup be like with this bad boy? ---- now i gotta budget my ass off cause im broke lol

I bought this pile of crap from them, since all I really wanted was the MAF adapter, and I figured I could use that filter for a week before I'd go out and buy my k&n... uh.. wrongo :l The filter FELL APART within 3 days :3 and it wasn't even the CORRECT filter hahaha :8

If he doesn't get your turbo to you soon, just file with paypal saying you didn't get the item and get a refund man. That seller sucks.

Heck, I did that once and got my money back and the shirt I ordered still came in the mail, even though they told me they never sent it :1

For $190 you either boost around town for a week or more OR you paid 190 to learn a general eBay lesson (too cheap usually = no good)

Hell, copy the auction word for word and stick it on eBay, buy-it-now $200. Point out what turbo it is though. Then you don't have to feel bad. lol

I ran a T3 on my D16 and wish I would have went wiht a smaller turbo.

On the highway it was sweet as hell.
around town, it was a lag fest and sucked ass.
If I do it again, its gonna be with a T25 or something along those lines....

just my $.02

ohh yeah. good luck with that pile. I paid $75 for my T3 and it was in mint condition.

and yes. it was too laggy for me.
dont get me wrong, not a bad turbo at all...just to much lag for around town IMO.

But with the HF mani, be ready to put the T25 wg on it. (or risk grinding a hole in your block, cause you gotta grind your block a little to make it fir the way it was intended. )-reason #2 I would go with something smaller.


BTW< the T3 with a HF mani doesnt exactly fit to well with the T3 internal WG. you gotta run the T25 WG.
learned from experience.


BTW #2...for the people who remeber my set-up, the JB welded block held till the day the new owner got taken out by the drunk driver. :X -at 18psi

I just say that since Josh (samson) had a 48/60 on his y8... and he thought THAT was too small, so now he has a 60/63 and loves it...
