Trust me though, the guys in the vettes tend to find out pretty quickly that it's not stock but I'm getting pretty close to the safe limits (at least that I want to take it to) of the stock motor. I could jump up to a FP Green or 35r at decent boost but that's pushing it, so until I drop some rods/pistons in it that's as far as she goes. Originally I only wanted 350awhp, but I've surpassed that one by a bit. As soon as I can find a semi-local guy with an awd dyno I can get an exact number, but numbers in DataLogLab are showing into the low 400's to the wheels on a consistent basis. |

However it's a clean car and I've always liked evos, congrats |
Re: I won 2nd place down at Carlisle's import show
Well the mod list and hp estimation are nice but what does it run at the track?
|
Re: I won 2nd place down at Carlisle's import show

Re: I won 2nd place down at Carlisle's import show
There is a place he in North Nj that does a lot of dsm stuff, they have a 4wd dyno. BTW on of my friends work there; here is his evo: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Ye-od77rOs4 >:D

*Edit...sorry, quoted the wrong cfm number, it's not 1400.* $800 for crap, ETS is a ------- joke |
Re: I won 2nd place down at Carlisle's import show
I like it myself, even though it definitely cost more that 7 of my cars put together.
|
Re: I won 2nd place down at Carlisle's import show
I guess that's why I don't go to car shows. Bolt-ons win car shows now? Wow...that's sad. :-\ Way to go I guess.
|
Re: I won 2nd place down at Carlisle's import show

i actually like making ---- for my honduh. anyone can point and click parts they want to buy. its just too easy. |
Re: I won 2nd place down at Carlisle's import show
Looks like it sits too high in the front and not feeling the rims at all. Overall a decent looking stock Evo (as far as looks).

That'd spank up AWD pig boxes all day. Lovefab ran a 10.3 in theirs when it was making just a hair under 600hp, granted it was on slicks, but still full interior with upgraded sound system. Seriously, look at this ----------er even: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjFOA...eature=related |
Re: I won 2nd place down at Carlisle's import show
I was hoping for a second place at a drag event.
