last night i had a little get together, we ended up smoking a ---- load of weed and drank till we where pissing more than what we can drink. i was so fucked up there was this girl who i'm like totaly in love with, she knows that i like her but i never told her. we ended up getting in a little fight over some bullshit so i kicked her out of my house. so, later that night she calls my apologising, but she told me why do i have to be an instigator with her only. i don't know what i was thinking but i told her how i felt about her, and thats why i acted like that tords her. i told her you know "i think you are very attractive, smart, great personality and blah blah blah. and i think we could make a really good couple. so she said i dunno, we should start off as friends only then maybe see what happens then. the funny thing is she has a boyfriend a really good friend, but he's in like some other state. he's a marine and doesn't come until like 2 weeks. what should i do.

Well that's the kiss of death. Anytime a girl wants to be "friends" thats a very nice way of saying im not into you but I dont want to hurt your feelings.

Yeah, the old "Let's just be friends" ----. Keep her as a friend and maybe one of these drunk nights she will forget that she has a boyfriend and fall in love with you for a night. :P Just be nice to her. You can always keep her on the side burner.

Marines cant stop bullets... but anyways if he is a good friend you shouldnt go for it, how would you feel if one of your friends did the same to your girl while you were away?

You're about to do something that might not have good results... I'm not talking about getting mangled, I'm talking about losing a good friend(you said he was) AND having the girl dump you later on, it's a common lose lose situation, and I've NEVER seen it work out. Besides, be prepared to have a confrontation with the guy because you basically came on to his girl knowing that they were together, and chicks love nothing more than seeing two guys fight over them, so you can rest assured that she will bend this information you gave her into a marraige proposal and attempted rape before it gets to him.

You may not think this is the way things will be played out, or that she wouldn't do that, but trust me, all girls have a "sensationalist nutcase" streak in them.

The guy might not be a "good" friend, if not then screw it go for it, but it's harder to replace a buddy than it is to replace some shorty.
