I'd say someone decided to live like a fucken filth ball and couldn't even get up the energy to help themselves.

I'd buy that house in a heartbeat. Think about it. You get the house for like $5 and gut it. Rebuild it all fancy again and flip that bitch. I couldn't think of a better fixer upper that would bring more money. :y

Re: i think they may have a rat problem

Well....

Many of you know that my family owns a large pestcontrol company. As of 2006 I became partners of the company. This... means.. the more i work the more $$ i make.... and now i have to do ---- JOBS like this...

Anyways... long story short.

A woman here in Roseburg Oregon Rents this apartment for about 550$ a month. We think she was breeding Rats to sell to pet stores.

For some reason she left the home for 2-4months. No one went in the home for months and months... She had cammo tarps over all the windows. The neibors started to complain about the smell..

Turns out.. there is about 2000+ Rats inside of a 2bed room apartment.
The rats had NO FOOD/WATER so they resorted to eat each other.

I had to film some footage for the insurance company to show the damage done to the home.. a TOTAL LOSS was filed. 20-$30,000 labor/repairs/damage. New walls floors EVERYTHING had to be replaced due to Rat ----/piss.

The smell was horrible I personally vomited a dozen times wearing a 150$ respirator my eyes started to burn.

We where there for 1 week solid 10-6 every day, using Poison/traps/bb guns

i spend 3hrs a day shooting, thats all my arms could handle with the pump guns.

So.. thought id post the video, this is WHY PEOPLE CHARGE A CLEANING DEPOSIT.

video is slow.. it wasn't made to keep people entertained but only to show the insurance company the damage done.

this was taken off a local forum

Oh, so this wasn't something just found on the internet, huh? It's alot of rats, but it's perfect for resale. You should make an offer to the insurance company. :y

You're saying that in great shape the house would sell for $110k? I've never even seen a crack house listed that low. WTF is the deal?

the house across the street from us has a halfbasement no attic, double family, but small ass rooms. and it sold for 99k with a cheap ass fix up.

this house has 2 living rooms. and 3 bedrooms per apartment.

with brand new insulated/brand new drywall walls.
central heating and a/c, brand new windows and siding. this house will fetch a pretty penny.

My one friend bought his house for $67,000, 2 bedroom 2 story with a basement. Very nice house in a neighborhood that isn't night all the time.

I'm say'n. My parents bought their house for 70k back in the 80's, and now it's worth over 400k and it's only a 1 1/2 story. 90k for a house around MPLS would be impossible.

Donald125 04-03-2006 12:22 PM

Re: i think they may have a rat problem

why did he bother to use bb gun and trap and posion. All he need is to "cook" the house with toxic gas, kinda like what ppl do with termite

MikeJ-2009 04-03-2006 12:24 PM

Re: i think they may have a rat problem

Yeah, you gotta gas em hitler. :1

ifly87 04-03-2006 12:44 PM

Re: i think they may have a rat problem

then they would crawl into the walls and die, i guess thats ok if ur replacing all the drywall anyway, but if you poisoned that many rats you would never find them all.

Re: i think they may have a rat problem

Damn dude that's crazy....Never seen so many rats in one place ever....I guess you could sell the rats as snake food on pet shops, but damn, that's nasty....

The end shot of the drawer was really funny, almost too perfect like you guys put them in there for the shot, regardless just nasty.
