i spun a bearing in my old accord, looked @ the crank and said ---- it and threw some new bearings in there. 15k later when i sold the car it was still running fine.

I hope you like to waist your time :-\ theirs no way you can just throw new bearings back in a think it will work, when bearing's spin they damage the surface on the crank and rods. Just buy a new crank and get your rods re-sized.

im just going to go get a diffrent car tomorrow so i can save up for what i want in that car. and ill part out the engine and ---- on this on some toyota fourm.

how did you spin it? old tired motor? no oil? low oil?

you could micropolish the crank and size the bearings accordingly.

i have polish for aluminum and also steel. could i do a ghetto job and hope that it would last for awhile.

Not that I've ever done this but you can just hand polish the scratches out, put in new bearings to sell the car. They'll usually last about 5 to 10,000 miles before they start making noise. ;)
