i spun a bearing in my old accord, looked @ the crank and said ---- it and threw some new bearings in there. 15k later when i sold the car it was still running fine.

im just going to go get a diffrent car tomorrow so i can save up for what i want in that car. and ill part out the engine and ---- on this on some toyota fourm.

you could micropolish the crank and size the bearings accordingly.

Not that I've ever done this but you can just hand polish the scratches out, put in new bearings to sell the car. They'll usually last about 5 to 10,000 miles before they start making noise. ;) |
