alright i got the quote today for getting my car fixed and it's gonna be 2500 to bring it back to normal-with new parts. To bring it the way i want it with the different aero kit is 4000. I really can't justify spending four grand on it but it looks so hot. Give me your honest opinions on what i should do with it. I don't even know if i want to keep the car and i know i'm not going to get any of this money back when i sell it. Or right now i'll sell it as is for 10,000 if anyone is intrested, it runs great and besides two doors and a fender all it needs is a good set of tires and you're set.

if you like the aero kit and could afford it then get it.
if it was my car, i'd just fix it and make sure it's at a quality body shop. that car looks pimp, even stock. if you got the extra cash i'd just fix it, slap on some m3 wheels and lower it.

Re:i need all your opinions
i had a little mishap in a parking lot christmas eve night...
i have the cash it's just a matter of how wise of a decision it is to drop 4 grand on it....
i really don't want to be hood rich, i mean i'm still young but buying a home is more important to me. Not to mention homes are only going up and the value of this car is only going down..
The guy doing the work is grade A...no doubt about that.
I already put a deposit on a set of wheels and pirelli p zero neros thats non refundable. I'm just so stuck on this it's annoying and i'mn trying to weigh out the best possible situation

Well I don't know anything about BMW's, but is the option of finding a door, or two doors, or a fender off some bmw.com site out of the question? I mean shoot, I go to mx6.com all the time and there's people parting out 20-30 mx6's all the time. I don't know what model you have, or if it's rare, or whatever, but if it's something you think someone would be parting out online somewhere, I'd def. go that route. Even if they're not the same color. Paint them, have them installed and then spend your money on the kit you want.
That's my two cents. But if all that is totally out of the question, then I guess it's a matter of looking at how big of a loss is 4K. Is it something you can regain quickly compared to the amount of time when you think you'll be purchasing a house to the amount of time you think you'll keep your car. If you plan to sell it soon, I don't think I'd go with the kit (but would still fix it). But if you plan to keep it for a while still, then yea, I'd probably go for it.

hotnuts 10 and it's yours i'll drive it to your damn house if you want....to bring it back to stock is 2500
and from what i'v been told by 3 different shops silver is a bitch to match so unless i get doors that are within 2 or 3 months of the same build date there really isn't a point.....they would have to get painted anyway. the doors from bmw are only like 300 a piece it's the labor thats a pain in the ***....Although i found a set of used doors for 400.
If i'm gonna fix it theres no point in cutting corners because the rest of the car is gorgeous. I need to sleep on this i think, i'm stressing myself out..
