I hereby resign from the Republicrat party....

Watching the convention tonight has made me realize that I don't have anything in common with these phonies. Fred Thompson and Gov. Palin might be willing to throw their reputations aboard the Titanic de McCain, but I'm not. These people don't believe in ----.

Yeah yeah, I'm only given two choices and if I don't vote McCain then it's Obama. That's BS too. My problem is when Republicans nominate and defend such a lame candidate that it's laughable. Not only is he not note worthy as a candidate, he's a lying, liberal moron.

I can only dream of the day that real Conservatives figure out that these wack candidates who "speak for us" don't exist when we all stand together with our heads out of our asses and say enough is enough. It may not be that long after Obama wins with absolutely zero ideas that we figure this out.

It's so blatently obvious that this has to be a joke that I can't believe any real Conservative could defend this crap. I don't owe any allegiance to these counterfit politicians, and it's plain to see I won't go out of my way to defend them. My only question is, when will fellow Conservatives demand not just better, but the actual best we have, cause this isn't it.

Icing on the cake would be after the "headliners" and having fox still cover speeches, and Michelle Bachman (R-MN) threw her rep into the sinking raft. Voting the right way most of the time doesn't mean anything after you show what a fake you truely are. I hope that speech makes youtube so everyone can see what a fake phony Republicrat loyalist she is. Excuse me while I Karen Carpenter my dinner.

Stealth i agree with ya 100%

Everyone is hopin on the ban wagon of.... McCain is a republican he is now the greatist thing since sliced bread...

WTF not to mention that he is old as ----... This only bothers me cause it seems that in a rapidly modernizing society i love how we feel a 70+ yr old has the ability, yet alone the mindset to run the country in a manner suitable for todays society... Yea hes old and has experiance, but he is part of ths "greatist generation" bull ----, where the only thing they have done and continue to do is be a drain on the ------- economy..

Back to the point when will the republican party elect a true "conservative" canadite who will back and serve his pary, rather than run the middle of the fence to keep on the safe side..

---- Politicians and there BS.. George Washington is rolling in his grave..

Better than a black man who has no clue.

I'm entirely on board with this ----, neither candidate is conservative enough for me. I don't think anybody in their right mind will argue that we don't need more conservative government spending. At this point, it's going to require something drastic to really put our economy on a strong upward trend - neither candidate offers that. I mean yeah we can keep our economy going sideways, it will pretty much do that on it's own.

Seriously, the government needs to back the ---- off - and all I hear these candidates talking about is what NEW ---- they're going to put into place to band-aid the problem that is the government over extending it's power. It's about time to put a check on that ----.

i blame my local news. they said she was mayor of alaska. but emphasized 2 years experience in office. wtf, how can anyone with 2-5 years experience in their field really know what they're doing?

Did anyone catch the 'african' speech that Steves candidate threw out there?

Steve wants to / needs to read Atlas Shrugged. It's 1200 pages but it's worth it.

Not sure which speech you're talking about. What I want is the best guy for the job, not an affy with no ideas, or an old goat pretending trying to make us forget about his voting record. Oh, and I'd also like America to wake up.

I would really like to see a third, legitimate party myself. 3 branches of gov't should lend themselves easily to a three party system. However, the system is so broken and those that are in power now would never let that happen, unfortunately.

I agree, I really dont like either candidate a whole lot...but I agree on many more things with OB1 then I do with Old Guy. Plus, I just dont see why the fact he was a POW and he cant raise his arms above chest level has ANY bearing on why I should vote for him. I tried to watch the convention last night to find out REALLY what they claim to be about this year, and thats all I heard...I couldnt take it.

Im def. not saying that I am thrilled about either candidate, but the old guy is the better choice IMO. And yes, I am going to pull the race card on a few of my reasoning's.

Steve, you really should read Atlas Shrugged. It's 1200 pages, but it's worth it. It's basically like the stand Ron Paul takes but a little more serious.

Frank, your composition is lacking today, and even if it were in tip top shape, you don't have what it takes to be in this discussion.

If the two choices given were David Duke vs. Ted Kennedy, would you still be trying to justify voting?

you must be a socialist if you believe anything obama does. when you see most people like steve rallying against republicans its not so the country can move farther left. this country was founded on principals the exact opposite of obama

hell no, learning politics in school will just mean you've been indoctrinated in whatever your professor believes (if you asking take what he says as anything but bs)

or if your teach is the 1% that isn't nuts, then you'll just be indoctrinated into today's version of politics which is what a lot of people want to get away from

Re: I hereby resign from the Republicrat party....

I don't like either candidate either, but McCain did win his party's nomination if there were so many people that believe he isn't the best they have I don't think that would have happened. What I hate is how the media portrays Obama like he is some kind of god, when he really has less experience then McCain's VP. I'm surprised he was the best the Dems had to offer.

beaker 09-03-2008 07:23 PM

Re: I hereby resign from the Republicrat party....

most are sick of republicans....so the democrats know that a lot of people will vote anti-republican.....advantage Dems

a lot of people are sick of where this country has ended up at with old white people....so a young-er black-ish man appeals to them.....advantage Dems

historically...whenever a presidency ends with the economy in the shitter....the other party tends to win....advantage Dems

notice that whenever obama is shown....he is just saying we need a change.....

notice im saying 'a lot of people'.....not majority.....we have a lot of stupidity in our country.....and all that stupidity gets herded by the media......------- sheep.....

RS...you can curse me all you want.....but obama will win this....he wont get my vote....neither will mccain..

you cant argue this....he is a powerful speaker(but so was hitler) and sheep like that.

J-SMITH69 09-03-2008 07:25 PM

Re: I hereby resign from the Republicrat party....

obama and mccain are tied in the "polls" which means mclame is winning

and the economy is not in the shitter it grew at 3.3% last quarter

SkunT 09-03-2008 07:27 PM

Re: I hereby resign from the Republicrat party....

the best thing to do is yes, watch TV, and then start talking to people and do your own research.

speaking of fox news, I have fox on right now, and they are making some slanders at McCain.
