i had that about 2 weeks ago, the exact same thing
first i got some "hijack this" program thats ----! i tried to fix my own computer and fucked up to teh point it wont even start up... so i reinstalled a second identical version of vindows, with like the over all file name of WINET2 instead of WINET or some ---- and so when i woudl start my computer it would ask me which windows to open in, so i opened the new one looked through teh hard drive and found all my fines, burnt them to CD's and then wiped the whole hard drive started from scratch and now i make sure my nortons anti virus is always updayed and running

Not to highjack, but you folks seem like you know what your doing with these ------ computers. How do I restore Windows XP to the original factory state? I've been on the phone with the Indians from Dell for 1hr and they want $99 just to tell me how to reboot this piece of ----. I've got the same "antispylab" virus. I just want to wash everything clean. And, no, they didn't send me the original discs with the computer. I hate this ------ thing. HELP!
