I think everyone will agree with me that you just need to read around the site. There is a plethora of information on this site that you can access, you just need to read, read and read some more. check out the turbo projects off the home page. There is no sence in us telling you what to get for your car. Decide for yourself

put a twin turbo C32B2 up in there. what do you want us to say?
just swap the best engine you can afford in and turbo it, then build the drivetrain, lighten it up, and get some slicks. and leave the hx badges on there for fun.

Re:i have a honda civic hx what can i do
lets see he has an hx so it has VTEC-E where at lower rpms only one intake valve open to promote swirling(mixing of fuel and air) and at higher all open like normal. He's doing a little better than:
Civic DX/LX/CX rated at 106@6200HP 103@4600TQ 9.4C/R
Civic HX rated at 115@6200HP 104@5400TQ 9.4C/R
Civic EX rated at 127@6600HP 107@5500TQ 9.6C/R
read up on VTEC-E here: http://asia.vtec.net/spfeature/vtecimpl/vtec1.html
I believe he also has normal VTEC as discribed in this article
So he has lower compression ratio than EX and a less "wild" cam when VTEC is activated so he will lose less boost from being blown in the intake valve out the exhaust valve because there is too much overlap.so i say he is set, i dont know if he can use V-AFC to control both the VTEC-E and the normal VTEC. he might need to deativate VTEC-E and play around with normal VTECH switch point.
HX's also average 5+ mpg!!!!!!!!!!
If your still not convinced I'll trade u my base 1996 CX 50k on engine for you 1998 HX unknown miles

Re:i have a honda civic hx what can i do
of course u can stuff a H22A in a EK civic . hasport makes the mounts but u might find a different company or hasport on ebay much cheaper.
http://www.hasport.com/Products/Mounts.htm
Model:EKH1
The question is if you plan to ever boost the h22a and do u want to stay obd2 or switch to obd1
also how many miles are on that hx, is it auto or 5spd, i might be interested in the HX engine if you do a swap, i would need engine, ecu, and wiring harness.
