didnt i see in another post that you had snow on the ground where you live Mary? Just call me stupid but i dont think golf clubs and country clubs are actively hireing this time of year. your boss probebly let you go cuz it's the slow time of year. where are you from..? i know people all over. ia am an Executive Chef in MA. and i have lots of contacts all over the US. let me know.

There is little to no snow left on the ground where I am. And whether or not people come out to the course to golf, is not the reason I was let go. They hold mass amounts of banquets, meetings, parties, and organizations such as Rotary, use the club house every week for their deal. It's just that they've hit a slow period, like you said. But it's not the golfer's attendance that determined my being let go.
