I Graduate Tonight...
 

I graduate from high school tonight and really I could care less and I doubt any of you do. However, I have seen this done at like college graduations and I wanted to do it at mine. I guess it's a way to be creative and help spot you out in a big comencement. Not to mention most sit in the stands looking down. So I told my parents and I wake up this morning to a note (from both parents) and in my Mom's it told me she set out fabric paint. Ha, I love my parents. I also told them I'm moon walking the stage then throwing my fist up when I walk across the stage. Bad news is I have to shake the Head Teacher's hand at the end of the stage. :( Booo. Doesn't look that will happen, but anyway I just finished this and I want you all to check it out. LOL. Just thought I would share my st00pidity. :y

Our graduation was gay... FOB Valedictorian had some gay speech about Star Wars, our Superintendent accidentally referred to Michael Jackson instead of Michael Jordan, and we weren't permitted to throw our hats in the air.

I'm glad I'm out of high school. Where you going to go to college? Go to SRU and you can stay here 8) haha

Thank you. I believe in God and "...good things come to those that love the Lord..." so I'm not that nervous, but thanks for the concern and advice. :) I plan on going to Duquesne this fall for Pharmacy and God willing this is His will for my life and I graduate in 6 years with my PharmD.

I'm not going to graduation, I'm going to be trying to ---- a freshman. I'll make it out to gradnite though, their throwing it at some club, should be good, I will hopefully piss many of these fuckers off for the last time.

nice man..i graduate next friday, i can't wait. Then off to PSU. I almost went to duquesne also for pharmacy. Have some friends there and visited but its just a little too small for me.

Wow, everyone is going to Penn State. Do all you live in the area or what? You guys going to main or a satelite one?

Duquesne isn't all THAT small, but I guess we all have our different tastes. ;) ;D I liked it because I'm a country boy and it's VERY closed off from the city and quiet. Kind of like its own city within the city. :)

What do you plan on doing now at PSU?

I graduated about a week ago. It took so damned long. We had a lot of antics though. Some guy with vasoline on his hand. Another guy did a carwheel off of the stage. Another guy ripping his diploma out of our principle's hand without shaking his other hand and running off. Lots of other things too.

It feels so good to be done.

I remember my HS graduation, 400 students(I think), it took friggin' forever.

Good luck w/the pharmacist career. My friend double majored, graduated w/honnors, applied to the top four graduate schools, flew around the country interviewing and still didn't get accepted. :3

Yeah i live in York and im heading up to main. Right now im going into business for marketing or something but headed towards international business. Nothing is set yet so i could really end up doing whatever. I did loike how Duquesne was closed off and it was a nice campus, but i guess i just felt better at psu. Best of luck up there man.

I wasn't exactly proud of graduating from my high school, basically a trained monkey could graduate from there (sadly we still had around 30 people drop out senior year, I mean seriously, why suffer through 12 years of school only to quit right at the end? that's the height of stupidity.) Anyway I graduated with honors, which basically means that any 7th grade Japanese girl is smarter than me.

Graduation was pretty fun though. We had a lame motivational speaker, but we got to do the whole throw the hats and a bunch of silly string thing. also one of the pseudo goth kids cut a bunch of holes in his cap so he had purple spikes of hair sticking up all over the place like 7 inches tall. Another guy flipped off the principal right after he recieved his diploma, funny stuff.

You won't realize how easy high school was till a couple years from now, then you'll wish your life was that simple again. Growing up sucks sometimes. :-\

I graduated on the 28th, and belive me - I was good and hung over when I crossed the stage.

I'm not putting my future in God's hands though, I took a little bit of initiative and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.

Maybe I'll get to go to Japan? :4

i didnt even go to my graduation.. i got through first two semesters at the university ok.. then i saw it was fucked up and lost interest :( now i go to community college cause its the same exact ---- only thousands and thousands of dollars cheaper.. same teachers.. same books too.. ----.. i got a job now too 8)

College is fun, you'll like it. Medical field is where it's at. I'm going to go into either mechanical engineering or Nursing, so we'll see how that goes.

Nursing for guys is easy. We almost automatically get in, the classes are hella easy, hospitals pay for your schooling and you start out at like 60k a year :6

Oh, and you basically work/school with all woman :6 ;)

Ha, wow I go out to find parties and come back tomorrow to a full thread. :S Thanks everyone for advice and congrats and for your stories too. The fact is I AM accepted at Duquesne and got their Presidential Scholarship. It was like 1100 applied and somewhere around 180 were accepted. I finished my HS 5th in my class out of like 300 and some almost 400 I think. Everyone says that "you're in for a shock, you'll have to study, it's going to be tough..." They say that every year and about everything. We still have doctors and pharmacists turning out each year sooooo I guess it's possible and to get accepted tells me they think I can do it. O0


Yes, Jon thanks and the girls up there are phenomenial. My girlfriend I'm dating right now is going there this fall, too. You should SEE these girls. Oh my, everyone of them, hot, but out of my league kind of hot, oh and rich too. LOL.
