Hey guys,

Bought a Crower turbo cam for my z6 off ebay. Guy said it was ok, but it got here this week. BIG chunk missing out of the lobe, and the cam gear that cam with it is warped and all kinds of fucked up. I wanna drive to Georgia to beat im with it. He was all primed to answer my emails during the auction, but now he's ignoring me. I've even called him 14 times, no reply. This blows.

Did you do the insurance thing? (usually like $2.50 extra or so) If so..you can have him kicked off E-bay. The insurance says that he has to send you another one or give you your money back.

YEAH!!! go kick his ass! ;D I got screwed too but from another website. I bought a turbo from some guy and he won't answer back after I had paid for it. I posted a while back ago about this. If i lived on the East coast near the guy that screwed me over... i'll hunt his ass down >:(

I always check the feedback and make sure the seller hasn't ripped anybody off before. I hate that ----. Hunt that faggot down and beat him with the cam and shove the gear up his ass. What a piece of ----. It really sucks because I am sure he hasn't left you feedback yet, and when you leave him the feedback he deserves he will turn around and leave you unfair negative feedback. I can't stand the way ebay works. I have only been ripped off once by some little bastard across the country. He ripped off like 15 people before they finaly shut him down. I watched his auctions and emailed everybody who was stupid enough to bid on his auctions with all that negative feedback and warned them about what he does. One stupid ass I warned told me "Oh thanks allot, I won't bid on his item" and went ahead and bid on it anyways and ended up emailing me back a month later asking what he should do because the little punk never sent anything. Buyer beware!!

Yeah, only buy from users with alot of good SELLERS feedback. If they have low feedback insist on COD, if they won't do it there is a reason behind that, and don't bid on it.

Just because someone on ebay wont accept cod's doesnt mean they are crooked. I have probably about 60 A+++ feedbacks from selling many diferent things, I have no negative feedback whatsoever, and I wont accept cod. Only paypal cause the best and fastest way. (imop)

i'm in the atl as well. southeast gwinnett. good to see other locals here. sounds like a posse run. i've only had one problem when someone bid on something then immediately decided he didn't want it and wanted to withdrawl bid. he wanted me to reject his bid b/c he was esentially a dumbass. i told him he needed to rescind his bid but he didn't. that would put a negative on him. the bastard ended up winning the auction and screwing it all up. pissed me off to no end since i researched for him how to get out of the auction. he was a totally lazy dickhead.

Well I'm in then!! I'll meet you guys in Georgia!! When that ---- happened to me, I waited until the last second to leave negative feedback so the other dickhead couldn't leave a negative on me. I had one dumbshit send me an amp that wasn't even the one he listed in the auction and it was also like ten years older than what he stated. The funny thing was I hadn't paid him yet. The dunbass sent me the screwed up itme and I didn't even pay him yet. Needless to say I sent it back and wrote him a "nice" email. He was actually cool about it and left me positive feedback. I think he was just clueless as to what he was trying to sell.

damn i hate those sellers, i have boght lots of stuff off there and have only been screwed a few times. once by a guy with over 10,000 positives he just up and left and fucked a bunch of ppl. most of the time you get a good deal tho.

for the most part ebay is the safest way if you do it right. fewer people get screwed than not, but it always sucks when you're the one that gets the screwing. i like the paypal thing with ccd. at least you can always charge it back if necessary or escrow. i try to stay away from moneyorder and feedback issues. when i sell i let them pay by paypal or moneyorder...whatever they are most comfortable with because i know i'll follow through and ship out the goods. i just stay away from the deals that are too good to be true if i can't paypal. not worth the risk.

Sadly, I used paypal (with my credit card). However, paypal does not protect against misrepresentation of product, only non-delivery. However, Ebay's gonna crucify them :-)

paypal may not, but your credit card may. most have a protection in it for non performance of product/misrepresentation. contact your credit card company and talk to them about it. you may have to send a letter to the seller and send the product back and produce documentation showing this (ie: certified letter and shipping receipts).

One time my credit card number got into the wrong hands over the internet and I got charged for like 3 different porn subscriptions. This wouldn't have been so bad if I actually had the passwords so at least I could se them ;D I called my credit card company and they said I had to write them a letter and send it to this other address and tell them exactly what happened. I sent the letter and about a week later they removed the charges, but they didn't completely remove them. They were just put on hold. I got a new account number and thought it was all over with. About 2 months later they recharged me for them. I guess I wasn't covered for the theft of my credit card numbers. I don't think crtedit cards are as safe as everybody thinks. It is the biggest hassle in the world trying to get a credit card company to refund your money.

the lesson learned here today is, ---- ebay, ---- it right in its ear. just got my first negative feedback because i sent a money order and it supposedly never got there. the guy wouldn't wait for me to trace it before leaving bad feedback. hmmm, i smell a rat. that's okay though because, if he stole it i will try to have him kicked off, and if i get my refund, i'm definitely not ssending him a damn thang now.

A refund? With a money order? I doubt it. Ebay is ---- when it comes to that. If you sent him a money order and he says he never got it, you can't do a damn thing. Ebay sucks when it comes to controlling frauds. I hope it wasn't for too much money. File fraud charges on him and leave him negative feedback. Email people bidding on his auctions warning them of his shady ways. Be careful who you buy from on ebay. Check feedback. :(

You should send bank check or money order through certified mail with a return receipt. Then the lying bastard cannot deny not receiving the bank check or money order. Personal check can be send through regular mail because you will have a record of it in your bank statement. Otherwise PayPal is fine. I am just too cheap to pay the fees.

if you have the receipt/stub from the moneyorder you can check and see if it was cashed as well. if it hasn't you can stop payment and get your money back too less a fee.
