I decided to go, goodbye HMT for a while. (pics work now)
 

Well guys, Monday night will be it for me. :'( I'm leaving for the Air Force. I'll be gone for about 6 months then I'll come back home for a little bit. I decided to go, I think this might be the best thing going for me right now. I think the military will open up alot of doors for my future. I can't see myself doing it as a carreer really, but it'll look good on my resume. Well, I'll miss you dudes. Thanks for all the help and all the bullshit as well that you all put up on HMT :) Wish me the best. I'm out.

good luck to you man!

one peice of advice, you mentioned earlier that you were a little worried about what base you were gonna get stationed at, make the recruiters put that ---- in your contract where you wanna be stationed, and make sure its in ink, and its still there when you get to meps. just tell them, where you wanna be stationed for X reason and make em put it in your contract.

good luck. and when you are at boot camp, and the ---- seems rough, you cant go on anymore, just remeber, you are at one of the easiest boot camps in the world. ;) my boot camp lasted twice as long as yours did.

one more thing. if you are the guy to ---- up alot in boot camp, the drill instructors (i dont know what the AF calles 'em) will love you and you will hate life. be the guy who doesnt talk, the guy who hangs out in the back of the crowd, just do as your told, fast, and exactly as they say to do it, and you will be fine. the first few weeks will be the hardest. once you get used to it, its a breeze.
