some of you might know that i sold my bimmer on ebay a couple weeks ago...so i'm looking on ebay today and look what i find

this son of a bitch bought my car, used my description and my pictures-i think i sold it to him for 4000 give or take-i can't even remember...i can't believe this piece of ---- he made up this whole story about him buying it for his nephew and told me how excited he was about it. Can i do anything about this?? Extort him atleast??

haaa thanks doc....I'm not even mad at the auction, i'm pissed that he made up this whole story about what he was doing with the car. I even wrote him an email last week asking if he liked it and he said yea it rides great but we havn't gotten a chance to register it.

as of the pic, do what they said and upload whatever to ---- it up. if you still have the recipe for thw motro swap, e-mail the bidders and tell them to ask for the recipe.

Yeah it would piss me off too but there's not much you can do about it. Except send a nice e-mail and an attachment of your original auction to the highest bidder so he won't go through with the transaction ;)

You could try something with eBay, maybe since you uploaded it with eBay it is copywritten under them and they can take legal action for him stealing them ???

And dude that does blow ass. I have a question, did you already send in the release of liability form to the DMV? Cause if you didn't I suggest you do immediately, I am assuming that he will sell the car with the slip you provided him and it may have a blank 'buyer' field? So if you didn't fill out the release of liability form, go to the DMV asap and do it. And, if you wanna be an ass, put the for sale price like 10g's (but then I don't know if this would effect you) so that'll be more taxes. And why make sure you release liability to him? Cause if he doesn't fill out a bill of sale you are still the registered owner and he is the lienholder so he will have to fill out a bill of sale to sell it.

You can contact ebay and tell him he is re-using your pictures.

Reguardless of where they are hosted at, you can claim they are yours (especially since you just had a auction with them) and tell them they are re-using them and your wife is in the pictures. I'm certain Ebay will make him take new pictures. I report people all the time using my pics.

wife as in a serious annoying girlfriend...i'm only 19-but yea i don't really care about her being in them and i didn't even realize that til after the fact. I don't wanna get ebay involved i just kinda want to ---- this guy over for making up a complete bullshit story to swindle me out of $100 because the AC wasn't charged.

Yeah you sign the pink and it's not yours, BUT until they submit the pink it's still in your name. What you need to do is let the DMV know that you sold it to him. What I see him doing is buying the car from you, leaving the 'buyer' part blank, and selling it to someone else as if he were you. Go to the DMV and tell them you sold it to so and so (i believe they should have forms) that way he will be linked to the car and he will have to fill out a bill of sale to release it to someone else.
