I Bought my first V8!!!!!
 

Some of you know that my normal day job is residential painting, and with the big move to MN. I decided that I'm tired of making money for other people. I'm going it alone on a new painting company called "Paint Mode" (that's right, keepin it real) ;)
Since I've been here I've done a couple small jobs out of my civic :D, but it's time to move ahead, so I bought my first V8. (Oh, don't even worry about the vinyl, it's coming) ;D

1998 Ford E350 (1 ton killa') with 150k on the chassis, and 52k on a new motor. Motor and Tranny warranteed for 2 years. $5400.

I couldn't find a car wash that would let me take this bitch through it, but I'll wash it soon. Anyone with a LARGE turbo for sale, pm me. ;)

Oh, in case you're wondering. This is also my new daily driver. The civic is getting the ---- washed out of it and then it's staying in the garage. a.k.a. "the operating room"
I figure once I sticker this beast up and drive it around town it'll just count as free advertising anyway.
Rolling to the bar with Cray will be interesting though. hahahahaha

yeah, I tinted windows for a year in Ca, so that won't be a problem. Maybe the van is what I'll do the "window tinting" write up on.
And for the ricers, I'll do the "how to install custom grafix" write up. hahaha

Maybe I can do one side of it in Paint Mode grafix, and one side in Stealthmode graffix. Then we can pull up only one way at a customers house, and another way at the track. hahahaha.

that's a good question. I think it's the towing compacity or something. This 1ton feels a bit more "hefty" than the 3/4 ton I drove yesterday. I'm not sure.
I think the size has something to do with it. I parked next to a ford van just like mine at homedepot and it was noticeably smaller. I don't know if that has to do with the 150, 250, or 350 numbers either. I just don't know ----. I'm a honda guy. 8)

there's 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/2 ton models of vans and trucks i beleive

That's what I found on some website. I've always had a preferance for chevy over fords, but the express vans are fucken expensive.

Oh, and now that I have a V8, all you little 4 bangers is teh suck!!!!!!! 8)

ok the triton heads have 2 intake and 1 exhaust valve designed for best low end and best top end

that's the same motor used in ford lightnings just not supercharged
