hyperutechtic pistons...anyone know about them????

id like to know about the pistons also, there is a guy sellin them and this is what he posted:

Hyperutechtic low compression (8.5:1) pistons, stock bore. Hyperutechtic is a newer style metal. its almost as strong as forged and much stronger than cast. these pistons should be able to handle 17psi and higher with proper tuning.

so if anyone knows about these pistons let me know, thanks

8.5 to one is gay, Hyperutechtic is just a stronger version than cast but still not strong. There not anything new they have been around forever.

I've always thought so for a street car, I think it makes it to doggy when your out of boost. It would be different if you had a big displacment motor that acually put out some torque ;)

stronger than cast, not as strong as forged but they don't grow and shrink with heat like forged do, so you don't get the cold start piston slap

You sure you can connect them to the "solid 1 piece" rods youve got?

the hypers gotta be fairly strong, my buddy's mustang has a 351 in it with kieth black hyperutectic pistons 10:1 c/r i believe, anyway he sprays them with a 175 shot of happy gas all the time and they havent failed yet...
