Wow, that sounds all too familiar. My dad died when I was young and I was raised by my mom and whatever piece of ---- boyfriends she had. She was into the same ---- for a long long time. It sucks when you're just kicking it watching tv and all of the sudden cops come busting into the house, tearing everything apart, going through everything. It sucks even worse to watch your mom get hauled off in hand cuffs. I have been feeding myslef for as long as I can remember. There was never any food in the house because my mom didn't need food, she ran off meth. I spent so many years digging through her ---- when she wasn't looking trying to find her stash to get rid of it. It was like a game. I would sneak into her room and steal the ---- from her, then she would go crazy and act like she was cleaning my room, while digging through my ---- trying to find her drugs.
I know exactly what you're going through. I never wanted to tell my friends either. Who wants to tell their friends "My mom is a drug addict"? It's a shitty situation, but hopefully she gets smart and figures out what that ---- is doing to her and her family. My mom has been clean for about 5 years now. I still can't believe how fucked up she was back then, but she is a different person now. That ---- is very addictive and very hard to get off. If you know who the person is she gets it from, depending on who they are, have a talk with them, weather it be friendly, or violent. I always had an older brother and insane friends, so that helped.
I wish you and your mom luck. Just don't turn your back on her. Make sure she knows you still love her and you want her to sober up. Keep us posted, if you feel comfortable.

People need to hit rock bottom in order to realize there is a problem and start the road to recovery. Nobody in this world is perfect and everybody ***** up, who cares what other people think about your family. Good luck with everything...
