You can PM me with any emotions or feelings you have, I'm not yet certified for psychology but I gurantee I can help you get through your problems. You were wise in posting this - just try to stay out of dwelling in the negativity and dwell in the positivity in your life (I know... easier said then done right).

You need to talk with your friends (your closer ones) not the general "aquaintance" type. Hell I'm sure just posting this has made you feel a little better.

Just remember when you hit rock bottom all you can do is go up, you sound like an intelligent kid... focus on your education and lead your own damn life. I had to grow up without my parents to, and I've been struggling to get over it - in fact I'm actually preparing to sue them for neglect of my sister and I (you think your parents are bad? My father tried to sell my baby sister on the black market).

This is the sort of bullshit that happens in the world, but there are good things that happen to. You will become a much wiser man then you thought before, you will become stronger emotionally and you will be ready to cope with others in the future.

But like I said, do what you need to do to get the greivances out of your system, I would suggest, running a mile, or beating the crap out of a punching bag. Don't worry about your mother she's obviously beyound your help (and I hope that doesn't hurt to say). Your grandparents sound like they're at least uniting in some way to help you out.

Is the house going to be left to you? Are you working?

Just remember... stay in school, get an education in something profitable, like engineering or become an RN or even a Psychologist.... Make something out of nothing.

my little sister isn't related to my mom, here's the break down of my family:

older half brother, mom is our relation
younger brother, both mom and dad same
younger step sister, she became related when my dad married my stepmom
younger half sister, dad is our relation, product of my dad and step mom.

In this situation this is probably the best thing that could have happened. My mom was too damn stubborn to admit she had a problem and to go get help, she never told my brother or me (my older brother doesn't live with us) that she had a problem, we thought her change was due to alcohol. If this would have continued she would have died, she either would have been killed by one of these dumbasses that is into the ---- with her or the drug would have killed her. It sucks that she has to go to jail in order to be helped, but at this point it's the best thing. I really appreciate your comforting words, I don't usually post in threads like this because I can't genuinly feel sorry for other people and I don't want to be fake.

<--Like my new permanent marker tatoo?

As my 90 year old greatgrandma always tells me "we shall muddle through"

I graduate on may 21st, and in the fall I'm going into EE, so I'll be alright in the future. The house doesn't belong to us, we're renting it. I have a part time job, I work about 20 hours a week working 3 nights a week, and I just picked up another day for work last week, so that's 4 nights a week. I've been living half the time at my mom's and half at my dad's, so the transision to my dad's hasn't been hard, we just need to find room for all of our ----.

I'm not really close with any of my friends, I don't really want to talk to any of them about this, I might tell them about it though.

Sounds like you've lived a pretty tough life like I did to then. But don't blame yourself or feel guilty in anyway for any of this. You're a strong and intelligent person, I mean look at what you just posted you know where you're going.

But PM me if you ever need to talk, I will be your friend.

the whole half at my mom's half at my dad's thing was never really hard on my brother and I, it's been our way of life for the last 10 years.
