Um, what's a yenko camaro? I know the muscle car people are big into having the original factory parts, but whats the difference?

i dunno if you need an explanation or not but anyway i shall
don yenko did for camaro what carroll shelby did for mustang, result:
factory installation of the L72 427 v8, plus z28 suspension, close-ratio Muncie 4 speed and 140 mph speedo
other dealers inlvolved were Roger Penske, Nickey Chevy and Ron Tonkin
they were factory race trans-am cars
what he did was take the ss 396 and relpaced it with the 427, he made 54 such convertions from 64-68 but in 69 201 were built
they had 450 hp

Re: Huge muscle car Stash found
yenko was a chvy dealer ship in PA. It was Yenko Chevrolet. he took camaros, novas and chevelles and modified them and sold them on the show rooms floor. A yenko camaro in perfect condition goes for anywhere from 175k-250k. the novas go for more because of there scarcity. the yenko camaros had close too or over 500whp right off of his show room floor. All you NE *******, im ashamed

Re: Huge muscle car Stash found
amazing, simply amazing.
i read a few of the other articles from the links on top of links and so on.
the person that bought all of that can just turn around and sell it, which if you were there to make a profit that is what you would do, or restore the parts and enjoy the cars (which is what the cars are meant for, in my opinion)
