How to send personal messages
the personal message (PM) function of HMT has proven itself to be a mystery to some of the members of this site. it's really not as hard as whitey's physics problems, and it can actually be fun. This is my personal method of doing it, and there are several more out there, but of course you want to be just like me so you'll only do it this way for the rest of your life.
to start off find the person who you wish to send the pm to. I do it this way because I usually can't remember all the details of a name when it comes time to type a name into the address line, and some people have different names then what they log in as, for example, if you try to send a pm to 'kyle' the system won't know what your trip is:
click their name to view their profile:
next click on the "send pm" button, or whatever it is in english, I'm from mexico so I keep mine in spanish, but the button location is the same:
after this we have arrived. if you wish you can fill in the subject area, I rarely do this:
the real meat and potatoes of the pm is the "message" area, type some romantic stuff in there:
once you're done with that it is time to send the little pm on it's way:
once you've clicked that button you have completed the process and you are a winner for not "spamming" (my new word) the forum with your "y0 y0 y0 shout outz ta my homiez, where youz beez wit my ---- that I paid fo las week, foo?" threads.

ahahaha, kyle you like that huh
Lemme see what was I trying to say:
Excuse me sir, I still do not understand what you are saying. I'm lost, what is a personal message? My mother always said to me that the bananas are grown in trees and the tomatoes taste better with ketchup(tomato sauce). Is this true?
Hahaha the cambodian beaner strikes again.
