how rare are 92 93 gs-r's
i just picked up a 92 gs-r, i have not really seen alot of them around or there motors either. apparently the b17a1 and the trans are very hard to come by. i got the car from this girl that lives near me for $1100. the car is in decent shape and runs incredibly. it had 225k on it and you would never know by listing to it or looking at it. its lowered, has some old school borbet rims, old kicker 10, old hks intake. i got a deal and i know it i a just wondering how rare these cars are, on another website they said that they only imported like 1400 white ones in 92 but i have no clue how true that is. if some one wants i can email them picks if they can post them for me since i am computer illiterate.

My friend has a red 92 gsr...yeah, it's a pretty rare car to see. To date I think I've only seen 3 in person. From what I understand, the body was imported, but the motor was US made...the first us made dohc vtec. It's more or less a mix and match of pr3 and pr4 compnents.

Ive probably only seen about 4-5 ever in person, most of them at the track and one of them a friend owns, which he bought for about 8 bills in running condition with a spare ls motor and spare ys1 tranny.
