soem guy from pepboys told me he had a lady bought in a 90 ish camry that won`t start. Dip stick was BLACK and he asked her how often does she change the oil. Turns out she don`t know what an oil change is :S , she`s been adding motor oil whenever it is low ever since she bought it BRAND NEW and the motor lasted 10 years and finally gave :8

I try to do it every 3,000 but I always end up procrastinating and ending up somewhere between 3 and 4 thousand.

7,500 isn't a good number IMO, especially not with a regular non synthetic oil.

Between 3-4k miles. More oil changes the better, we recycle the oil at the shop into the oil furnace, so the more oil canges they do the more free heat we get.

yea i wouldlike to change at 3k because i drive a little hard :y but it allways ends up at 6500

That's a Toyota for ya. :6 My borthers Toyota truck has something like 350,000 miles on it and still ticking.....

i used to change mine every 3k miles with synthetic, but now I have since been lagging it and change it roughly every 5k miles. It gets expensive when you have to use 11 quarts every oil change, especially when it's synthetic :3

My dad's car we change it like every few years. TurboDiesel they need no oil :P

i dont know about that every few years
we have a couple at work and every 7 to 10000 we change the oil or earl ;D and the oil in that ---- looks like hell even for a diesel
