On HMT
-D15? (dx) on 10psi with FMU and 310 injectors.
-D16Z same setup above.

ALL MOTOR setup i blew...
-Fully built LS/VTEC (13.4 1/4 mile, 12.8 with 50 shot), Melt a hole in one of the Pistons
-H22 in 94 civic hatch (raped the motor)
-H23 in 92 prelude SI (dont know why), and year later
-H23 AGAIN in same car as above, Now my friend owns car and it has a H22 (car i drove from NYC to Florida when i relocated)
-LS/VTEC what was in current car, (motor before B16 turbo)

as you can see i have no luck with ALL motors....:D

I thought 6psi was max on a D16Z6 with the rods and pistons stock???
maybe I should look into this a little more? I was gonna be really happy with 8psi....but 10?

im still seein no one with more than 6psi on a stock D16Z6 salefy....is 8lbs safe? did you blow the motor with 10lbs?

it's all about your engine management.

If you throw on a fmu and run 10 psi then say goodbye to your engine in a little bit.

If you rape your engine like a female roommate with no rent then say goodbye to your engine.

If you decide to do some street tuning with no clue of what you're doing then...

There's alot of variables, a healthy d16 can handle 10 psi for a long time (notice you haven't asked who is running 10 psi for a long time, there are lots of setups running this)

If you use conservative numbers when tuning and don't get on the throttle everywhere you go then it should last for a long, long time... boost is addictive though, so you'll end up cranking the boost or screwing with the tune and blow the engine, it's a fact you'll blow your engine.

running uberdata?
what else have you tuned? <-is this a dumb question?
doesnt uberdata take care of your fuel management? and of coarse you have to play with your timing, what else to tune>
