Yea just wondering, how long does it usually take to put a turbo on a F22A? i sent mine in 3 weeks ago, and its still not done.

Did they have all the parts in or did they still need to order everything? Usually waiting for the parts is the longest part... actually putting everything on can be done in less than a day, especially by a shop.

supposedly they ran into all kinds of problems, but still they said 3 days and i was all like ok cool, 3 WEEKS later im like ok not cool.

my cousin and i probably put a good 80 man hours working on the whole turbo project, and we took our time.

No. It was a friend, who had other ---- they had to do, and thats understandable, but still.

That's bullshit... my buddy took his to a "performance shop".. and they took 3 MONTHS and bought a SSautocrhome kit... lol. He took them to small claims court and LOST becuase the judge didn't know ---- about cars... it was ------- retarted.


Anyway... tell that shop to pull their heads out of their asses and give you your car back... 3 weeks is WAY too long if they had all the parts.

EDIT: Okay, tell your friend to pull his head out of his ass then :P (unless he's doing it for free... then you need to pull your head out of your ass and help him out to get it done)

1.no he aint doin it for free thats for damn sure. 2. I have tried to help,dude never calls me back, i go to his house hes busy or not home. 3. I would have done it myself when i got all the parts 3 months ago, but i have no tools, 4. He has tools, said it would take 3 days, and ive been waiting 3 weeks, i just want boost.

Yea well ill just have to go out and buy all kinds of tools, and i havent paid for ---- yet, but i think he wants like 300. oh yea and ill just post the pics on this website, hows that sound.

i saw the setup like a week ago, it was coming along, the manifold and turbo was on, the intercooler was fabed up, and all the piping was fabed, all he really needed to do was weld. he has ran into all kinds of problems, it is an accord, not a civic, from what i have heard there a little harder to fab up.

no they are not, well as least not when he think hes "skilled" enough to charge you that much $ , how much did you paid him anyway ^-^

I havent paid him ---- yet, just 100$ for any part he may need, and he ram out of that too, hes used to doing civics and crxs, so maybe hes not as skilled as he thought.

it is exactly the same thing, doing a kit for a civic and doing an accord, pretty much the same engines just a little bigger. Same components in the same places, so that's just bull......
He is just not skilled at all. Putting a manifold with the turbo takes, 20 minutes. hanging an intercooler takes maybe 30 minutes if you are skilled. Just looks like he is learning as he goes and taking your money while at it. You could have purchased a $20 socket set and installed it yourself. Serves you right.......

how can you be proud of having a turbo accord if you don't even know how a turbo works? you didn't do any of the install......that sucks :7 :7 :y :8
