How to get out a broken ect sensor.

Re: How to get out a broken ect sensor.
Find a drill bit just hair smaller then the section broken off. Drill it out and then usually the rest can be backed out after some material has been taken out. I usually use a philips and kinda tap it in and then it's got something to hold onto. Not too much cause there shouldn't be that much material after you drilled it out. It's also worked for me. Oh and spray that ****** down. Hell I'd say just try tapping a philips in there now. Don't even drill anything out and give it a whirl. Maybe a impact driver if you have one. That doesn't look all too bad. Maybe even finding a small screw and threading it into and then try backing the screw out and the rest may even come out with the screw.

Yup it's out. My neighbor let me borrow his extractor set! Pretty awesome it's out and took like two seconds.
it was pretty much loose and sitting in there. The idea of tapping a screwdriver into it and turning it out would have worked in this case.
