how fast have you guys gone in your HMT setups?
 

I only did 130mph showing my cuz what she could do... But I should have enough power/gear to go 140 or 150... i let off because of my shitty tires. What have you guys taken your homemadeturbo setups to?

burried the speedo witha stock zc, and i still had 2000 rpm, this was at the track with z-rated tires tho ;)

135mph while racing a 94'corvette after i pulled 1/2 car on the vette at 120 the driver slowed down...----- ;D we took off while i was in 4th gear and he took off before i got next to him.

135-140+, the kid I was racing said we were going 145 but I'm not sure if I'll trust his speedo on that.

I raced my girlfriends mom before 100+, she was in a Cherokee, me in the CRX :P

pegged at 130 and rpm was still climbing in 5th gear.That was on HR rated tires too :-X...I love dager :P

Buried the speedo went well over 240, I'd say closer to ~260-270. B16 Turbo.

On my old boosted A6, I took it to 7k in 5th several times. So like 130ish
On the B16, Ive had it to an UK cluster indicated 145. Ive rarely had it over 120 though, high speed in the CRX sucks.

I've never been past the stock cutoff at ~120ish. I don't think it was very safe at that speed so it's probably a good thing it had a cutoff. :-X

rev'd out my old setup, T25 & D15B2 w/ a DX trans. No idea how that worked. Also hit 145mph in dereks CRX a couple months ago, RHB5 w/ D15 & DX trans in his car.

i remember in my first crx i almost pegged it on a huge road and i have never felt so unsafe in my entire life....whats the stock si cluster max out at?? 120?

One time I was in the 130-140 range, but I didn't realize how unsafe it was because I was concentrating on the ricers face as I passed him. 8)

Haha, when I first got my Integra off the lot O took it down the freeway at 125. It was a little too fast being new to driving the car and all. I was catching up to other cars way to fast :o So I called it quits and thats as fast as I've taken it up to. I'd hate to see how it does now :-X

so fast that my speedo went completely around and the odometer said "incredible isn't it?" :P I love old Bugs bunny cartoons from the 60's! I think I only went 120 then let up on my old y7 rhb5 in my eg hatch since I was on a stock ecu with the stock gov.

lol, I remember when I bought my first Honda. I drove off the lot, hit the highway and raped the ---- out of it. No tach in the DX so I hit the rev limiter in almost every gear before I shifted and barked the tires, but it was fun. :D I still wonder what the car salesman was thinking as I drove away. :o

100mph is the max I've done in my truck, and that's where the speedo pegs. Current gearing dictates a 120mph top speed on redline in 5th gear. Definitely not safe though with the aerodynamics of a brick.

In the straights of northern california, I raced an AMG E55 ... while I was trying to video tape it. I threw the video camera down at about 120, but i took it to 160 before we shut down. He must have been limited because he stopped speeding up around 140.

I raced a GSXR on the freeway back in the day with my crvtec turbo setup in my crx. The guy said we were doing 150.

About 5 mins after the engine was done.

pretty sure its faster than that...

the speedo in my integra never acted wierd. i watched the speedo in 5th from 65 to 115 and it didnt do anything wierd.

had the tach bouncing off the rev limiter in 5th gear j1 tranny then had the speedo burried in 4th gear ls tranny
both times were with the black car with turbo b16 a few years ago

the one i recently did, i was running a STI, he hit 140, and i am a head of him and still going up, for got what rpm but really close to redline on 5th :P
the needle on the speedo went like between 7-8 o'clock. LOL

i throught i might die tho..
the car jumps up on everybump i hit on the freeway :-\

I've paced my speedos with those police radar signs and they all seem to be pretty accurate. Even my old POS 1985 Ford E350 had a very accurate speedo. ???

buried the speedo in my 95, im guessing maybe around 130'ish, but back in the day had a 90 accord and buried the speedo on that (140 if i remember correctly) but i think the speedo mightve been screwed up
