Is there a way of downloading movies from limewire faster? Im downloading 1 at 20 kbs and its taking me like 8 or 9 hours per movie. I have time warner cable internet. What i want to know is there some magic setting that can change my dl rate? sounds like a dumb question to me, but who knows. I already downloaded the pirattes of the caribean 2, simpsons movie, rush hour 3, finding nemo, and im working on national treasure 2 right now. All within a day and a half lol.

Why not? I cant get a good explanation of how to use bittorrent so im stuck with what i can get. I am using the bitzi site to check everything i dl first. and i run virus scans and adware scans everyday.

use Utorrent (i thinks its pronounced mu torrent) google both. Its free and isnt a resource hog

2. download the torrent you want
3. double click on the torrent, holy ---- its downloading :1

yeah i just downloaded utorrent, and im already dling a killswitch engage album and a nightwish album. pretty easy..... but that ip blocking software doesnt work for vista yet so im kinda stuck there.

mine go to a "downloads" file in my documents but i cant remember if that is default or i moved it there.

right click on the utorrent file you just dl and click on open containing folder.

google download accelerator plus it is a free program and i went from 3000kb/s with t1 to 8500kb/s i now can download a hour movie in 35-40seconds depending on the server i steal it from

Google accelerator doesn't increase download speeds nooblet. You are cornfuzed as hell. Google accelerator just acts as a proxy to google servers (since they keep a cache of pages while searching the web), and so it only works to increase the speed of loading webpages since you're loading from google's superfast servers instead of the server the pages reside on.

1. Download utorrent
2. Go to site (piratebay.org, btjunkie.org, etc) and search for file
3. Open the torrent and it starts downloading

There are ways you can optimize the speed, like port forwarding. Just read all the links, I promise you can figure it out quicker if you'd just do some research instead of waiting for answers.

Got 2 George Jones CDs, 10 CD Hank Williams Sr. Collection, Collection of every Waylon Jennings song, And Collection of every Willie Nelson song, but all not downloading very quickly :(

Make sure when you search for torrents that you download the ones with the largest number of seeders.

Rebuild my tranny

There are some private trackers that you can get good quality and really good download rates on. Most are invite only though. I was trying to get one to Oink and Demonoid forever, but they got shutdown first. :7

If you are into TV shows there is one I found awhile ago that was kickass, but I didn't bookmark it and can't find it again. Anyone happen to know it?

Yeah I know about that. For movies and tv shows I'm a member of a private tracker. I was trying to find that one for the public nogs. PirateBay does kickass though. I get all my music/software from there.
