How does carp taste?
 

Theres a bunch of 2 ft carp in a little stream by me, I've been catching and releasing them, but I've been wondering how they taste, everyone says they wont/dont taste good. Anyone ever tried carp before? Anyone besides buk, he eats pigeons im sure carp would be delicious to him.

eh. its not the best of fish but it depends on how you prepare and cook it

only the dirtiest of dirt eat that ----, beaners and i hear some russians. i think its because they really like fishing. i use to go on crap killing spreas, we wouldnt catch and release. ive heard they eat baby trout/or eggs? so that was always a good excuse as why we would kill them and throw them back in the stream. machettes, pitch forks, bows. all fun ways to kill carp. i used machette and pitch fork personally. was fun walking up and down the stream and catch them then throw them on shore and beat the ---- out of them.

catfish may be a bottom feeder, but they taste damn ------- good fried up, with plenty of Louisiana hot sauce to douse it in.

Basically the same as a catfish, right? Bottom feeder that eats what other fish ---- out... Eat it, I love grilled or fried catfish.

Anything can be made to taste good if you're a good chef. Oh, fecal matter and garbage like that don't count, but anything does. I am an absolute fiend for properly prepared tripe. I know upper cow stomach ain't considered good, but at least it's not the lower end that's jam packed with ----.

When I was in iraq one of the locals tried to feed us some carp out of the Euphrates river... ---- was more scary looking then any damn IED.

I tried eating damn carp once (when I was young and dumb) and all I know is there are about a million little bones in them fuckers. >:( Not worth the time in my opinion.

A hmong friend of mine used to eat carp all the time. He'd eat that ---- like he was Garfield the cat. Put the whole fish in his mouth and then pull out just the bones. ---- smell like a dead rotting fish on the beach. Hell it probably was, he just picked it up and brought it home and cooked it up. Then he was eatting that ---- at work and the old biker dude was like my buddy made carp once. He put every kind of seasoning and spices and ----. In the end it still tasted like it smelled. A 50 pound sack full of yeast infections juices.
