How do I get oil out of jeans?

I got a bunch of hydraulic fluid onto a nice pair of pants.
I dont have a wife, how I do I get this ---- out?

I read somewhere that 1/3 cup of ammonia will do it.
Will it work?

My mom used to wash all my clothes back when i lived at home... Jeans would be oily as ---- but she would leave em looking new again.... I think she presoaked... then scrubbed it by hand with this mexican soap
http://www.dueronet.com.mx/esp/image...ctos/24262.jpg
and it would leave them pretty damn clean.... you can probably find that soap at the grocery store, or the 99 cent store...

These jeans are pretty nice, thats why I'd prefer to fix em' up.

I covered the oil stains with a dishwashing degreaser, we'll see if that works.
