how can i ship motors?

Default how can i ship motors?

im wondering how i can have a motor shipped to me, it has to come from wyo to wiscosin.

prices are great, when they quote you, just say thats too much & they will give u a discount. even cheaper if u ship to a buisness place and even less if u drop it off to them.

no, u gotta package it your self. they really dont care how its packaged, just cant have any fluids or loose parts.


u can wrap it in clear shrink wrap.

btw, does anyone know the stanard size of a pallet?

and can someone give me a rough guess as to the weight of a ZC, no tranny, no intake manifold, no exhaust, no flywheel

basicly, the head w/ the dizzy + cam sensor and complete head and complete block except for flywheel/tranny

One time I had to ship a motor I threw some pillows in a big *** box, dropped the block in, put a pillow on top and taped the ---- out of it. I took it to FedEx and they cut it open to make sure it was packaged good. I guess they thought it was because they shipped it.

I know FedEx and UPS has a limit on weight. You might be better off splitting the head and shipping the shortblock seperate from the head, accessories.

fed ex freight doesnt have any limits.

regular fed ex has size limits that exceed the deminsions of a motor, so they will refer you to their freight dept.
