How bad could an ebay header possibly be?

Unfortunatly my dreams of boost are having to be put off for at least another summer due to some financial hardship. I'm thinking I want to get a header in the meantime, but I def don't want to pay the money for a DC or something decent that I will only use for a year or so. I was looking on ebay and you can get a cheep chinese header for like 50 bucks shipped. The only thing I care about is how it performs so if the cheep as coating comes of in a day i could give a ---- less. Anyone have any experience with these? LOL and yes i know im gonna get flamed for going NA but thats just how i gotta roll for now. :(

My cousin Chris had one of those $50 headers on his accord for quite a few months, upon taking it off we didn't see any problems with it.

everyone i had fit and worked fine, i always went for the stainless.

Why not just put the $$ towards a set of DSM 450's?

Performance wise, well he already had a full exhaust and intake on it so you couldn't tell VERY much but there was a difference he said.

We put an ebay 40 dollar "buy it now" header on my brothers 89 Si hatch, it had a nice ceramic coating, fit well, was easy to install, there was a little difrence on the top end but that was about it. Had if for over 6 months without problem

LOL Its not like im deep into dept or anything I just had a whole bunch of unexpected expenses that put my car budget for the year down to like 200 bucks. Yeah I know I prob. should save it for the turbo set up but I'm pretty sure its not possible for me to go more then a few months without doing at least something to my car. ;D
