K-series is actually pretty cheap up by me for engines and tranny's, probably because kids read ---- on H-T and omfg have to have k-series madness...and don't realize how much extra time, money, and work it takes to swap one into their cars. Not too long ago I found a stash of 4 different K motors, guy was asking between $400-$800 depending on which engine you wanted. :P
