^^^that formula there gave me 236hp with 135whp on my b16 and 11psi. on the dyno i made 246whp. not a bad formula.

It's a new form of a fraction that cannot be converted into a percentage. It's posesses no true equations or values and cannot be divided into sections, nor can it be multiplied. It's not even a number. It's a scientific formula created to ---- the entire mathematical system up.

The drivetrain loss doesn't linearly increase when you increase the power of the motor. Hence it should never been stated as a percentage, as that percentage will only be true at one point in the graph.
And drivetrain loss is generally overestimated. If you were losing 17% of the power in the drivetrain on a 300hp car that'd be about 50hp just boiling the oil in your transmission. |

Well, if your motor is making 175hp peak and you throw down 145whp peak on the chassis dyno, then I would call that a 17% drive train loss in power. WTF else would you call it? He wasn't talking about drivetrain loss at 1500rpm or drivetrain loss at half throttle. :P
