Wait, what exactly are you trying to do? If you want to cool it down, why not get an intercooler? Where would the scoop run to?

He wants to cool down the engine compartment. It should get plenty of air through the grill. Mines does.

IMO, no matter what you say it's for, hood scoops, vents, whatever the ---- you want to call it, are rice. I'm not trying to bash on you, just stating my opinion.

Unless you have a gigantic blower sticking out of your hood, I don't see the need for a hood scoop.

This reminds me of a kid I went to school with. He had some sort of Nissan car that he riced the ---- out of. It had a pro-stock hood scoop mounted on the hood, full hydrolics, ricer can muffler, MSD ignition with a very small RPM pill so it made a very nasty sound every time he reved on someone, primer, big flashy chrome rims, the works.

That guy can ride a dirtbike like nobody else though. ******....

Well because i plan on mouting my smic over the original spot of the airbox... that is why i was looking for a vent like on the impulse but more in the bottom left corner so my intercooler works better
