I'm too drunk to figure it out, but I think there was a misunderstanding between the two parties. I think the original price and the core were misunderstood. I have heard nothing but good about those guys, but I will do some detective work for you.

Here is the email I got from them:

The complete package w/out AC bracket is $325 shipped + $50 core charge for shift linkage, which is refunded upon return. If you have a core linkage available right now, you can send that with the $325 payment and that'll be it. Our shop address is on our website.
