honda power!
lol
i was bored so i decided to take the rest of my LS apart.
when it blew, i stoped after the head was off because i saw one of the cylinders was cracked. i was hoping for a INTACT set of pistons, so i could ------ rig together another engine with my old block to take the place of the cracked one. so i had a car to drive while i turbocharge my mustang.
i was wrong
all 4 pistons with broken ringlands, two ABSOLUTLY destroyed. i think i broke the ringlands on the first pull i made after the rebuild. because it smoked ever since i put it together but i figured the rings just didnt seat the best. so my runs of 14.1@102.7 mph (2.383 60 foot)were on 4 pistons with broken ring lands. two completly destroyed.
good news? all the rod bearings had normal wear and were just fine...
on with the pictures... a lot of them didnt turn out very well... so i didnt bother.
they all look pretty from a distance.
