honda musical road.

Heard about this ---- the other day and checked it out today. They built it for a future honda commercial and decided to keep it up for everyone to enjoy..

Its a road with a sign at the beggining saying honda's musical civic road! It has small grooves in it spaced out perfectly so it plays music with your tires as u drive over it. Its suppose to be William Tell Overture or The Lone Ranger Theme.

But of course people bitch... There is only like 3 of these "musical" roads in exzistence and one is actually in shitty ass lancaster ca, but they built it to close to houses and residents are bitching to the city about how loud it is and keeps everyone up at night. So they are going to be paving over it tuesday... ------- stupid ass people.

Heres a vid. I didnt make the vid.

Here is the newpaper artical about getting rid of it.

Well, sorry to sound like a bitch, but I can see how that might bother some ppl. It's kinda annoying living near a busy highway as it is, it would really suck to live near a road that made that much ------' more noise. Do tax dollars go towards building roads that make music?? Kinda ------' stupid...IMO.

Why would you think tax dollars would be spent on that? It's called the HONDA musical road so you can bet they paid for it.

And it's not really long enough to be a nuisance, I'd love it every time I drove over it O0

I don't know, somebody said something to me when I was younger about how your tax dollars went to stuff like the upkeep of roads and ---- like that. I just assumed this road was no different. You're right, though, seeing as how it is called the Honda Music road, I'm sure they did pay for it. Honestly, I just enjoy raising hell about my tax dollars...lol.

You don't have to live as close to a busy highway as you might think, for the noise to definitely register on your mind several times a day. I imagine the nearby residents are glad it's a short patch of road. I feel bad for the ones that live right along it, but there might not even be anyone that close...who knows??
