As most of you know I know have an ebay store selling decals.....no harm right.

Honda just pulled one of my listing because of cpyright or trademark violations....which one

The oh so popular JDM TYTE YO!!!! I love my Honda style sticker.....

Ebay says if it happens again, I guess, they will close my account. I just searched on ebay motors and there's a bunch of other sellers with the same sticker.

Should I say:

1) ---- it, list it again, and see if they don't catch me.
2) It's the law, repect it, and never sell one of those again.
3) Report everyone else to Honda Motor Corp to theirs pulled out also.

I mean do you really think honda will check that I have not list them again.

Maybe I should wait a few weeks, so they can check and not find it, and then list it again..

Opinions.....what would you do.

I know I was selling dvds of the nirvana unplugged concert that aired on mtv. Within a month I sold over $1500 worth. Ebay said "don't do it again" and took off my listings. I did it again. They warned me again and took them away. I did it again. That was 2-3 years ago and I still can't get another ebay/paypal account. New bank and address though, maybe I can now :)

Yeah, that's the thing, I don't want to risk the business for maybe $50 a month.

Now if they will give me at least one more warning before closing me out, then I would try it to see what happens, but it they won't give me another warning and just lock up everything, I won't risk it. :-\

I dont like snitching but the best thing you can do is snitch. people like ssac been getting away with this ---- forever.
report the others and see if there is justice. I think the big stores get away with everything and the little guy like us get ---- with all the time.

Yeah I know, and those actually sell pretty good, maybe better than the $50 I said before. It is my personal account, but I like the 500 positive transactions.....

I think I'll be a snitch, report everyone and see what happens. If they all get pulled out, then fine, if not I'll post it again.

in the message it said I was copying a product. As far as I know that sticker was not used or sold here in the US. I might be wrong. Is not like they are selling that same decal, and it's free promotions. oh well...it still sucks..

couldn't you just change the sticker or did they copyright the phrase "i love my honda". i would check and see if it's copyrighted/trademarked and then go get it copyrighted/trademarked and tell them to f#ck off!!

I guess they still own the name "Honda" so even if I were to change it a little bit they might bitch about it.

Now the one I make really really looks like the one from Honda. Some of the other sellers look a little different. Just wondering if it is that.

I was probably some other seller that reported you. Someone did that with a 360 auction I had when they came out. They'll do anything to make a buck.

spell the honda in japanesse maybe you will sell more. i would suggest not selling anymore if this is how you make money just make other ones like it. like honda is gay stickers. or honda pissing on a ford sticker or whatever. i dont know why people buy stickers that say i love my honda and put it on there car.

I was thinking of just going with I love my _______ insert what you want here type of auction. Then list a bunch of car makes giving the buyer the option to chose what they want. Ot whatever else they want to put in there, If someone wants it to spell I love my Cock, oh well they are paying for it.

I am definately going to report everyone else. I had a little problem with one buyer. He paid for a decal, I sent it, 6 days after he payed he gave me a negative feedback saying he never got it. I told him dude, a regular envelope mailed could take easy 7 days to get there, he could not expect to have paid and gotten the damn sticker 6 days later. Sure it could happen, but at least give it a week before jumping on it. I gave him a negative also, then he withdrew the feedback. He already had about 4 negatives.

I'm just thinking this guy might have reported something. Those stupid stickers have been on ebay forever, and all of a sudden they pick me.

Talked to the lawyer friend, he said its a generic statement that they can't do this really, if it would go to court I would win, but of course who wants to go to court over a sticker.

If they where to really report everyone that uses a copyright logo or trademark, the decal business on ebay will dissappear. Everyone sellls them.....

Oh well, I'll just do the I love my _______ decal. Let's see what happens.

Hey I think I'm going to try Stealths idea of doing a package of stupid/funny/make fun of ricer stickers for cheap. Package 5 -10 stickers for people to mess with other cars.

I cannot front, I just bought one of these, I just really like the sticker..

However, I would STILL report everyone else who has the sticker as the market should not be saturated at your expense. Once you have done that put out your

" I <3 My Honda" with tha comprutah "<3", and I will buy 3 to get you started!

This way NOONE is selling the replica stickers, and you are the FIRST to market with the "new knockoff" stickers...

I think I was selling them for $7.00 on ebay shipped. HMT can get a discount....
